As part of MSF’s effort to guarantee our independence and strengthen the organization’s link with society, we strive to maintain a high level of private income. In 2024, 97.9 per cent of MSF’s income came from private sources.

More than 7.1 million individual donors, private foundations and corporations worldwide made this possible.

Program expenses represent expenses incurred in the projects or by headquarters on behalf of the projects. All expenses are allocated in line with the main activities performed by MSF according to the full cost method. Therefore, all expense categories include salaries, medical costs, logistics and transport costs and other direct costs.

Taken from the latest MSF International Activity Report, financial activities originally published in euros are converted to Canadian dollars at the average rate for that year. The average rate in 2024 was 1.482. Rounding may result in apparent inconsistencies in totals.
